Student Role in Online Learning
we7Academy/Rise-n-Shine Star promotes the high standards of online education. We expect students
1. Be motivated, dedicated, organized, and determined in your online learning.
2. Enter online classroom on time, be prepared for class, do not cause any distraction during class time.
3. Complete all assignments, and any other activities by the due date.
4. Ask questions and participate on discussions.
5. The email you registered on homework platform will get we7Academy or Rise-n-Shine Star news unregular.
Computer Skills
As a student (or parents of minors) enrolled in online leaning, you will need to have basic computer skills. You are expected to be able to
- Open files in standard formats (e.g., MS Office documents, PDFs, and images)
- Create, save, organize, and maintain digital files.
- Knowledge of web browsing and searching.
Online Learning Privacy Policy
All individuals enrolled are bound by and applicable local, state, and federal laws. We make every reasonable effort to protect the privacy of student sensitive personal information regardless of delivery method.
Communications
Students/Parents must use we7Academy or Rise-n-Shine Star media system to contact teachers for all communication. Personal information such as phone numbers, emails etc. cannot be transmitted to teachers by online course, homework, mail, signs, or other media.
Copyright
Students/Parents authorize we7Academy or Rise-n-Shine Star to archive my children or my own works, including essays, student works, photos, videos, etc. that can be used for promotion and training purposes by we7Academy or Rise-n-Shine Star, without any fee and or other considerations.
Classroom Policy
1. Webcam background must not display any objects or materials that are sexual, discriminative based on race/sex/religion prohibited to display any objects or materials that are sexual, discriminative based on race/sex/religion.
2. Discussion of sex, gamble, illegal drugs, or any others inappropriate topics is strictly prohibited.
English Writing/Advanced Writing
In Advanced Writing class, we continue the study of grammar but focus more on common usage errors.
In addition, students learn about the various types of writing, and then they actually compose all types of essays with individual guidance from the teacher.
The skills that students learn in this class will help them as they develop a more sophisticated writing style which is necessary for high school and beyond.
